Fisk API

Fisk API gives your product a read-only interface to African company profiles, reviewed financial facts, source documents, events and available exchange quotes.

Use it to add the research context around a trade: who the company is, how it has reported, where the numbers came from and what may happen next.

Both individual and business integrations initially use an active Fisk Pro account, a pre-registered OAuth client and the same strict shared request limits. A business can connect a designated Pro account through its backend.

Begin with an access discussion to enable your client and confirm coverage and permitted usage. Any data distribution rights and service commitments must be agreed with Fisk; a Pro subscription alone is not a redistribution license or service-level agreement.

The API base URL is https://api.fisk.co.tz. Use it as FISK_API_URL in the examples. Data requests require an enabled, registered client and a connected Pro account.

All data endpoints use GET, require a bearer access token and return JSON.

  1. Request access and confirm the data your product needs.
  2. Complete authentication for the enabled environment.
  3. Find a company and retrieve a fact.
  4. Add source and freshness labels alongside every displayed value.

The initial interface provides research data. It does not place trades, manage portfolios, generate AI responses or provide a real-time execution feed.
